Emails Still Matter In The Marketing World

Emails. All day and all night long, your “in” box gets filled with people grasping and even gasping for your attention.

“See this” or “Look here” pop out like a sore toe as you look to see what the heck someone is emailing you about this time.

Yes, the glory days of hearing AOL’s “You’ve Got Mail” coming out of your computer’s speakers may be a far memory from your past.

Yet emails definitely remain a powerful way to connect with new customers and clients, but also attract new audiences.

Statistics, Please

Just look at some current statistics from HubSpot:

– 54 percent of marketers say increasing engagement rate is their top email marketing priority. (Ascend2, 2016)

– 64 percent of people prefer rich text emails. (HubSpot, 2014)

– Three-quarters of companies agree that email offers “excellent” to “good” ROI. (Econsultancy, 2016)

Some people might say that thanks to social media, videos, and all the numerous platforms available for online business, there’s no point in firing off an email regarding your business, product or service.

Hold your horses there, pardner.

People love stories, right?

Of course they do. You do, and so do I.

Did you know that you have the power to tell a story through an email sequence?

There are so many email responder programs out there, and all of them serve many purposes for different people.

Yet I am going to talk about the one I’ve fallen (ahhh) in love with … ConvertKit.
